Leaf wetness sensor

This grid-like, resistance-type sensor mimics moisture on vegetation, ranging from 0 (dry) to 15 (wet). The sensor consists of an interlaced gold-plated contact point circuit board. Dew, condensation, or rain on the sensor reduces the resistance between the contact points. This reduction in resistance is measured by a FieldGuard Station and displayed via our Tracis software as a number between 0 and 15. Leaf wetness sensors are used, among other things, for creating disease models and are therefore essential for use in conjunction with Vitimeteo or RIMpro.
