Wireless Connection:

The Wireless LoRaWAN network consists of gateways, network servers, and application servers. Our wireless weather stations use RF chips from Semtech that emit a spread spectrum radio signal. The FieldGuard wireless weather stations transmit encrypted messages (via radio) on the LoRaWAN license-free frequency of 868 MHz in Europe and Africa. These encrypted messages are received by a gateway, connected to the internet, and forward the information to our Tracis Web Portal.
