The FieldGuard rain gauge measures precipitation in increments of 0.25mm. The number of pulses is transmitted at 15-minute intervals to our Tracis web portal, where the hourly and daily precipitation is displayed. Additionally, the monthly reports calculate and display daily and cumulative monthly precipitation. The rain gauge is self-emptying and highly reliable, with an accuracy of ±2% for a maximum precipitation amount of 5cm per hour. The bucket is frost-resistant and complies with the dimensions specified by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). In addition to the connection for the rain gauge, the model also has one free analog port and 2 digital (I²C) ports available for expansions (see model 2-4).
