TurfGuard Rain Gauge - Model 2

This TurfGuard rain gauge (model 2) for sports fields measures the amount of precipitation on sports fields with a resolution of 0.25mm per pulse. The number of pulses is recorded every 15 minutes and transmitted to our Tracis web portal. In the web portal, you can then see how much it has rained (or if irrigation has occurred). The amount of precipitation is calculated in mm based on the number of pulses recorded every 15 minutes. In addition to measuring precipitation, this station also includes an air temperature and humidity sensor located just above the turf.
